Toronto police say they are looking for three young men following a violent home invasion and shooting in the affluent Bridle Path neighbourhood on Thursday.
They say all three suspects were wearing dark clothing, are estimated to be about 20 years old and are considered armed and dangerous.
Police first received reports of three people shot inside a residence in the Post Road and Hyde Park Circle at around 3:40 a.m. Thursday.
Investigators say a father and his two adult daughters were shot when the masked suspects forced their way into the home through the rear door, armed with guns and a hammer.
Police say the father and the mother were also struck with a hammer.
Police say the suspects fled in a dark-coloured SUV and anyone with information is asked to come forward.
