British Columbia is heading to the polls once again, barely two years since the last provincial election.
On Sept. 22, Premier David Eby called a snap provincial election, citing the “existential” threat of U.S. President Donald Trump. The NDP leader’s decision followed months of disarray within the B.C. Conservatives, who’s leader resigned just days before the election was called.
Now, the Conservatives have a new interim leader, and voters must return to the ballot box after having just gone through their local municipal elections.
On Thursday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. PT, reporters Mike Hager and Ian Bailey and columnist Gary Mason will be answering your questions about the coming provincial election, what the big issues are and how calling the snap vote might affect Eby’s chances.
