Police have identified the Ottawa man who is believed to have murdered his two young sons before taking his own life.
The boys, aged seven and 12, were found dead in a home in the south end of the city on Monday.
Investigators say they found 40-year-old Mohammed Al-Lami dead inside a vehicle in a Kemptville, Ont., carpool lot and they believe he was responsible for the double murder.
Police say they are still investigating and will need time to finish forensic testing.
Earlier this week, officers said they were investigating a vehicle fire at the Kemptville site and a fire at a business in Iroquois, Ont., that were believed to be linked to the murder-suicide.
Police say they are not releasing the names of the boys to protect the family’s privacy.
