Ontario Premier Doug Ford says his government will be there for farmers, but in response to rapidly rising diesel prices, he offered no new measures. He says his government has done a lot to help farmers, including making a permanent cut to the gas and diesel tax that shaves off about five cents a litre, and he hopes a temporary federal fuel excise tax cut will be extended.
