Four pedestrians were struck by a vehicle on the Tsawwassen First Nation in British Columbia on Wednesday during an event marking the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, according to police.
Delta Police, in a statement on social media, said they are investigating the collision, which took place around roughly 11 a.m. local time. Victims are being seen by emergency services.
“At this point it appears to be a medical incident,” said police.
People are being asked to avoid the area.
