How are you decorating your classroom this year? Let us know.Justin Tang/The Canadian Press
September ushers in the fall, and every parent and teacher’s favourite time of year: Back to school.
For many, the first day of school is right around the corner, and kids are soaking in the final moments of summer. Meanwhile, educators are getting their classrooms set up for the year – a chance to include a fun theme they’ve been dying to try out, or to encourage creativity from students through their environment. Or maybe decorating the classroom is their way of staying sane as the chaos of the school year takes hold.
Teachers, the Globe wants to see what your classroom looks like before students come back to school. How are you laying it out this year? What special touches are you adding, and what have you done in the past? How are you expecting it to change during the year? Have the costs changed? Share your thoughts box below, or send us an e-mail at audience@globeandmail.com. If you’d like to include a photo with your submission, share it using this link.
