The person suspected of carrying out what RCMP describe as a “mass shooting” in Fort Smith, N.W.T., on Saturday has been taken into custody.
The suspect was arrested at about 4:30 a.m. MT on Sunday, the RCMP said in a release. Charges will be laid, pending further investigation, police said.

An altercation in the parking lot of a local bar, Dirty O’Fergies, resulted in gunshots injuring three people.
